The Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Nonye Soludo, has called on Nigerians to embrace the values of love, sacrifice and tolerance as essential pillars for peaceful co-existence, as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Fitr.
Soludo, who is also the founder of the Healthy Living Initiative, made the call in a goodwill message issued on Thursday in Awka, congratulating Muslims in Anambra State and across Nigeria on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
She noted that Eid-el-Fitr goes beyond festivities, stressing that the occasion serves as a reminder of the enduring importance of compassion, unity and mutual respect among people of diverse backgrounds.
According to her, “Eid-el-Fitr reminds us that love, sacrifice and tolerance remain the greatest foundation of harmony and mutual co-existence.”
She urged Muslim faithful to reflect these virtues in their daily lives by spreading kindness and promoting genuine happiness within their communities.
