Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, will highlight strategies for strengthening grassroots economies and promoting inclusive national growth at the maiden Policy Dialogue with Government Leaders organised by the Lagos Country Club.
Uzodimma is expected to deliver the keynote address on November 13, focusing on economic decentralisation and community-driven development under the theme, “The Future is Local: Stimulating Grassroots Economies for Inclusive Growth.”
The Secretary General of the Club, Mrs Damilola Ikpe, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday in Lagos.
She said the maiden dialogue was designed as a high-level platform for strategic engagement among business leaders, policy experts and public office holders on issues affecting Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
According to her, the governor, who will attend as the Special Guest Speaker, is expected to share insights on sub-national economic development, enterprise creation and strategies for expanding local economic capacity to drive sustainable national growth.
She added that the maiden session would particularly examine how economic decentralisation and community-driven initiatives could stimulate development at the grassroots.
