The Gamaliel & Susan Onosode Foundation (GAMSU) has honoured an outstanding student from Osun State, Master Ajisafe Qoreebulah Olamilekan, for his exceptional academic performance in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Qoreebulah, who recorded straight A grades in the 2024/2025 WASSCE, received the prestigious Gamaliel Onosode Award for Academic Excellence at the foundation’s Founders’ Day and 13th anniversary celebration held in Osogbo.
His remarkable achievement was officially confirmed by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) during its Annual General Council Meeting, further underscoring the credibility of his performance.
An alumnus of Eeman Foundation College, Boripe Community, Qoreebulah is currently a 100-level student studying Medicine and Surgery at the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Osun State.
Presenting the award, GAMSU’s Executive Director, Mrs. Toyin Olanrewaju, described the recognition as a deliberate effort to promote academic excellence among young Nigerians.
“This kind of achievement deserves to be celebrated. When we honour excellence, we signal that excellence is the standard,” she said.
Olanrewaju reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to sustaining the legacy of the late Gamaliel Onosode through initiatives that support education, including scholarships, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment programmes.

The award package presented to Qoreebulah included a certificate of recognition and a laptop, while his alma mater, Eeman Foundation College, received a cash prize of N250,000 alongside a certificate for its role in nurturing academic excellence.
Founded in May 2013, GAMSU is a non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing quality education and encouraging outstanding academic performance among Nigerian students.
