TMDK, an indigenous Kaduna-based conglomerate, has announced its expansion into agro-industrial production and international trade, positioning itself as a key player in Nigeria’s drive for economic diversification and export growth.
The General Manager, Sales and Marketing of TMDK, Abdullah Hussain, disclosed this during the Nigerian Saudi Investment and Tourism Exhibition, where the company showcased a wide range of products spanning oil and gas, infrastructure, and agriculture. He noted that the company’s growing portfolio reflects its commitment to innovation, quality production, and market expansion.
According to Hussain, TMDK’s agricultural investments include the production of vegetable oil, animal feed, corn grain, corn flour, and semolina. He added that the company is also set to introduce processed food products such as macaroni, spaghetti, and noodles into the Nigerian market in the near future.
“We started our agropark operations in September last year, and today we have established distributors across all states, including sub-distributors, ensuring that our products are widely accessible,” he said.
He emphasized that TMDK’s animal feed, particularly poultry feed, meets high-quality standards and is competitively positioned in the market. “Our products are top-notch, and in a few years, TMDK will become a household name across Nigeria,” Hussain stated.
Highlighting the company’s long-term vision, he noted that TMDK is actively seeking international partnerships to expand beyond Nigeria. He explained that participation in the exhibition provided a platform to connect with global investors and explore export opportunities.
“This is an opportunity for us to build international relationships, package our products to global standards, and take Nigerian-made goods to other countries,” he added.
Hussain further stressed that the company aims to contribute to economic growth by creating jobs, strengthening supply chains, and promoting locally made products on the global stage.

Industry observers say TMDK’s strategic expansion into agriculture and manufacturing aligns with national efforts to boost food security, reduce import dependence, and increase non-oil exports.
With its diversified operations and ambitious growth plans, TMDK is poised to play a significant role in Nigeria’s industrial and export landscape in the coming years.
