Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has commended Nigeria’s leading indigenous airline, Air Peace, for its seamless operations on the Lagos–London route, describing the service as efficient, customer-friendly, and globally competitive.
Obi gave the commendation after arriving in London aboard an Air Peace flight, noting that his travel experience was smooth and enjoyable from departure to arrival.
“Since the inception of Air Peace’s London flights, each experience has been smooth and exciting,” he said.
He urged Nigerians to continue supporting indigenous businesses, particularly in the aviation sector, emphasizing that sustained patronage would strengthen local capacity and boost the nation’s economy.
Beyond the flight experience, Obi also lauded the airline’s complimentary drop-off ride service, introduced in partnership with SIMPLAA, describing it as an innovative addition that enhances passenger convenience.
“The complimentary drop-off ride makes the experience more fascinating,” he added.
The ride service, which is targeted at Business Class and First Class passengers on the London route, provides seamless transportation from the airport to designated locations within the city.
