The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, wanted over allegations of fraud linked to her tenure in office.
The anti-graft agency said the former minister, who served under the administration of late President Muhammadu Buhari, is being sought in connection with ongoing investigations into financial misconduct allegations.
According to the EFCC, members of the public with useful information on her whereabouts are urged to report to any of its zonal offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja.

The Commission also provided direct contact channels, including 08093322644 and the email address info@efcc.gov.ng, adding that information can also be reported to the nearest police station or other security agencies.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission reiterated its commitment to ensuring accountability and the prosecution of financial crimes in Nigeria.
