The impact of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration dominated discussions at the 8th National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as party stakeholders highlighted policy gains and pledged sustained delivery under the “Renewed Hope” agenda.
Speaking at the convention on Friday in Abuja, the National Coordinator of the Inukunas National Think Tank, Hon. Adewale Adeogun, said the nearly three years of the Tinubu administration have been marked by significant reforms and measurable impact across key sectors of the economy.
He noted that the theme of the convention, “Delivering More to the People,” reflects the administration’s resolve to consolidate its achievements while expanding the reach of its policies to improve citizens’ welfare.
Adeogun emphasized that Nigerians should expect even greater results before the end of the administration’s tenure, as the government continues to refine strategies and deepen implementation of its reform agenda.
On the conduct of the convention, he assured party members and observers that all arrangements had been concluded to ensure a transparent and credible exercise, in line with the party’s constitution and Nigeria’s electoral laws.
He described the convention as one of the most organized in Nigeria’s political history, expressing confidence that it would set a new benchmark for internal party democracy.

Adeogun further explained that the party’s decision-making process—whether through consensus or other constitutionally recognized methods—would be carried out openly, reflecting the will of members.
He urged Nigerians to continue supporting the President, stressing that the administration came into office at a critical time and has since worked to stabilize the country and reposition it for sustainable growth.
