In the efforts of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Nigeria ministries has set to collaborate in ensuring proper implementation of forest and coast guards for the safety of the environment and addressing illegal immigrants of species for sustainable management.
Giving an update on the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, the two Ministers vowed to address these challenges incurred on the country’s economy.
The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboye Oyetola had a meeting with the minister of Environment Balarabe Lawal on Wednesday in Abuja.
However, the duo Ministers discussed plans for collaboration between both ministries, particularly in implementing forest and coastal guards to protect our forests and waterways.
They also pledged their commitment to include safeguarding endangered species, addressing illegal logging and fishing, and ensuring sustainable resource management.
