President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has sanctioned a fresh round of appointments, approves new heads for various agencies and parastatals.
The appointees include: Umar Ibrahim Mohammed, designated as the Director-General of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA).
Ms. Omolola Bridget Oloworaran assumes the role of the new Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom).
Dr. Olufemi Adekanmbi appointed as the Project Coordinator for the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP).
Former Nasarawa Deputy Governor Silas Agara entrusted with the position of Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
Tosin Adeyanju appointed as the Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF).
Mr. Jobson Ewalefoh will serve as the Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC).
Idris Ajimobi has been named as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Livestock Development.
Senator Bashir Lado Mohammed as Special Adviser on Senate Matters.
Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo appointed as the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA).
Dr. Mainasara Umar Kogo appointed as the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).
The President expects unwavering commitment and tireless effort in fulfilling the agency’s mandate of empowering communities to combat land degradation, enhance food security, and bolster resilience to climate change through sustainable interventions and educational initiatives.
