In anticipation 2027 general election, the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to return to their various states and communities to communicate the achievements and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to the people.

The Wife of President said the women had an important role to play in explaining the administration’s policies and mobilising support at the grassroots, stressing the need for them to remain united and speak with one voice.
The call was made at the one-day Women Stakeholders Mobilisation and Empowerment Pre-Inaugural Summit, convened by the First Lady on Monday in Abuja.
She said the theme of the gathering, “Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0: From Reform to Prosperity,” was not merely a slogan but reflected the administration’s direction and its efforts to move the country towards greater prosperity.
The First Lady highlighted what she described as progress under the administration, including economic stabilisation, efforts to reduce inflation, growing foreign reserves, increased investor interest and greater support for farmers.
She also commended All Progressives Congress women across the country for their support, prayers and commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The first lady urged the women to work collectively with stakeholders across the Presidency, National Assembly and state structures to ensure that the administration’s message reaches communities across Nigeria.
She said women remained critical to grassroots mobilisation and called on them to maintain unity and commitment as the All Progressives Congress prepares for the 2027 elections.
