Senate President Godswill Akpabio has clarified his health conditions sequel to the reports of collapsed on Thursday
Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Friday made this known to the pressmen while addressing concerns regarding his well-being.
This also follows the rumor that he collapsed following his birthday colloquium on Thursday.
News circulated that the former Akwa Ibom governor had experienced a health incident during the event, leading to his urgent transfer to the National Hospital for medical attention.
Akpabio further provided clarity on the situation, attributing his condition to a battle with malaria coupled with exhaustion, said: “After the event, it was a show of humanity, so I went home and called my doctors, and I was told I have malaria mingled with stress, and the stress could be described in another way exhaustion.
”This revelation dispels the earlier speculations, shedding light on the true nature of Akpabio’s health condition. As the Senate gears up to resume its crucial legislative activities, Akpabio’s assurance aims to reaffirm the steadfastness of the National Assembly in fulfilling its duties to the nation,” the Senate President said.
