The Ulayi, Ijigban, and Ekile communities, collectively known as the ARI Axis in Ado Local Government Area, on Sunday convened a strategic stakeholders’ meeting where community leaders, youths, elders, and other residents deliberated on the political direction and development priorities of the area ahead of the 2027 general elections.
At the meeting, participants unanimously endorsed Patriot Nelson Ogbu as their preferred candidate for the Ado State House of Assembly seat, describing him as a credible, people-oriented, and dependable leader with the capacity to represent the constituency effectively.
Stakeholders at the gathering noted that Ogbu’s emergence as the consensus choice reflected widespread confidence in his vision for development, inclusive governance, and improved representation of the ARI Axis at the state level. They further expressed optimism that his leadership would attract meaningful infrastructural and social development to the communities if elected.
