The Anambra State chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) has commenced mobilisation efforts for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging party members to vote for him in the forthcoming presidential primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
State Coordinator of the group, Okey Ezenwa, made the call in a statement issued on Friday in Awka, ahead of the party’s primaries scheduled for Saturday.
Ezenwa disclosed that the primaries would be conducted through a direct voting process at electoral wards nationwide, stressing the need for party faithful to turn out en masse in support of the president’s candidacy for the 2027 general elections.
He tasked coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors across zonal, local government, and ward levels in Anambra to intensify grassroots mobilisation to ensure overwhelming support for Tinubu.
“In Anambra, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors are expected to lead the charge, vote massively for the president and mobilise members of the party in their areas to do same,” he said.
The RHA coordinator justified the call for Tinubu’s second term by pointing to what he described as key achievements recorded by the administration over the past three and a half years.
According to him, the government has laid a strong foundation for economic recovery through reforms such as the unification of the foreign exchange market, removal of fuel subsidy, stabilisation of the naira, and ongoing infrastructure development.
He highlighted major federal road projects currently receiving attention, including the Badagry-Sokoto Superhighway, Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, and the Enugu-Umuahia-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway, describing them as critical drivers of economic growth.
Ezenwa further commended the establishment of the South East Development Commission, noting that it marked a significant step towards addressing long-standing infrastructural and industrial challenges in the region.

He also expressed optimism over easing food prices, stating that the cost of staple commodities was beginning to decline despite the ongoing planting season.
The coordinator urged APC members in Anambra to actively participate in the primaries, describing the exercise as a crucial step toward securing Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
