A volunteer political movement, Signature Nigeria 2027, has unveiled an ambitious nationwide campaign to mobilise between 50 million and 100 million youth signatures in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The group, which declared Tinubu as the most viable candidate for Nigeria’s next presidential election, said its endorsement is anchored on what it described as the President’s “bold and transformative decisions” since assuming office three years ago.
Speaking to journalists in Abuja, the Director-General of the group, Comrade Mayor Enujioku, said no other contender has demonstrated the level of courage required to steer Nigeria toward recovery.
According to him, Tinubu inherited a fragile and struggling system but has shown determination to implement tough reforms needed to reposition the country.
“He has the courage to revive what many thought was beyond repair. This is not about personal gain or power—this is about leadership with purpose,” Enujioku stated.
A central pillar of the group’s endorsement is the administration’s removal of fuel subsidy, which it described as a critical reform that has freed up resources for grassroots development. The group also linked the policy shift to increased private sector participation in the downstream petroleum industry, including the emergence of Nigeria’s first private refinery.
Enujioku further highlighted ongoing conversations around state policing and resource control, arguing that such structural reforms would strengthen security, reduce corruption within uniformed services, and promote regional economic development.
Describing the current administration as being “on the right path,” he maintained that only a strong and decisive leader could implement such far-reaching policies.

The group also announced plans to intensify youth engagement nationwide, urging young Nigerians not to lose focus but instead rally behind the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Signature Nigeria 2027 said its “One Mandate, One Nation” campaign would serve as a platform to galvanise youth support and demonstrate what it believes will be a free, fair, and youth-driven victory for Tinubu in 2027.
