NASC Appoints Emmanuel Odo as Acting Clerk of Nigerian Senate

Abuja, Nigeria – The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has approved the appointment of Mr. Emmanuel Odo as Acting Clerk of the Nigerian Senate, following the retirement of Mr. Emmanuel Rawlings Agada.

The decision was taken at the Commission’s 10th meeting in Abuja, with Odo’s appointment set to run in an acting capacity until substantive action is taken by the NASC in consultation with the political and administrative leadership of the National Assembly.

Prior to this elevation, Odo held several strategic roles in the Senate, including serving as Deputy Clerk, Administration.

His appointment was met with widespread approval among Senate staff, who described him as “humble, simple, experienced, and committed to upholding the standard and integrity of the Senate.”
