The Wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, has celebrated Iruoma Osele from Isuofia in Aguata Local Government Area for winning the Miss Continental World 2026 pageant in Thailand, alongside three additional titles.
Osele clinched the international crown and also emerged Queen of Africa, Best Physique and Best National Costume, earning recognition for her achievements on the global pageant stage.
In a congratulatory message on Sunday, Soludo described Osele’s victory as a proud moment for Anambra State and Nigeria, commending her achievement as a demonstration of the potential of women to excel internationally.
She praised the beauty queen’s bravery, confidence and resilience, expressing optimism that her success would encourage more girls to pursue their ambitions and overcome barriers.
“Your remarkable achievement is a proud moment for Anambra State and indeed Nigeria,” she said.
Soludo expressed hope that Osele’s success would inspire young girls to dream boldly and pursue their aspirations without limitations.

The governor’s wife added that Osele had taken Anambra State to the global stage through her accomplishment, noting that the state was proud of her achievement.
“Congratulations, Queen!” she said.
