President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau urged the organizers of the annual Nigeria Pitch Awards to uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency without compromise.
During a meeting in his office with Mr. Shina Phillips, President of Nigeria Pitch Awards, and Pastor Nelson Olafisoye, Chief Operating Officer, Gusau emphasized the NFF’s continued endorsement of the awards due to the project’s integrity and credibility maintained over its 12-year history.
Gusau stated, “The NFF endorses the Nigeria Pitch Awards because of the transparent process and credible results, which contribute to its high integrity. We are committed to supporting positive initiatives that enhance the development of Nigerian football.
“Recognition and reward through awards motivate individuals to excel in their respective fields. By striving for excellence, we can elevate the Nigerian football ecosystem to greater heights in a short span.”
Phillips, inspired by Gusau’s sentiments, assured that the organizers would persist in delivering a transparent and reputable awards program.
