ABUJA — The President of Binani Group, Aminatu Dahiru Chiroma, has declared that the newly launched Binani Air is poised to redefine standards in Nigeria’s aviation industry following the successful completion of its inaugural commercial flight.
Speaking at the Inaugural flight from Abuja, Chiroma said the airline was established to introduce a new era of quality service, consistency, and customer satisfaction in the country’s highly competitive aviation sector.
The debut of Binani Air marks a historic milestone, as it is widely regarded as the first airline owned by a Northern Nigerian woman, a development seen as a major breakthrough for female participation in business and leadership within the aviation industry.
“Insha-Allah, this is the day we have all been waiting for and I am glad it is finally here,” Chiroma said, expressing optimism about the airline’s future.
She noted that despite the challenges within the aviation sector, the company is well-prepared to compete and deliver world-class services to passengers across Nigeria.
“We are ready and set to show Nigerians what it means to have the best,” she added.
Chiroma further revealed that initial feedback from passengers has been positive, particularly regarding the airline’s hospitality and onboard services, which she described as a reflection of its commitment to excellence.
