
Hon. Francis Nkwo, Leader, Onigbongbo Legislative House, has pledged total commitment of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in advancing the vision of President Ahmed Tinubu, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Nkwo stated this during a recent courtesy visit of members of the council, to the newly elected Chairman of the Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Moyo Adebanjo, in Lagos.
According to him, when leadership is entrusted to one who has seen it all, it makes every other process easy.
Speaking further, he noted that there was the urgent for the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) to get down to work, in readiness to sustaining the party’s aspirations.
“We, the PCC group for Asiwaju come 2027 are here to officially identify with our new chairman of this Local Council Development Area (LCDA), celebrate his emergence as the Executive Chairman.
“We want to re-elect our national leader and therefore, put everything in place to ensure success.
“So, the process has began. The time to start is now. We will all do our work in a very peaceful manner for things to happen bid to deliver the mandate of the continuity of good governance.
“The chairman is a grassroots person, and by associating with the PCC group, he believes in the vision of the national leader and by this I know that with him at the helm of affairs in this LCDA, whatever that is needed to be put in place in terms of support to ensure success, I am absolutely sure, he will not hesitate to do,” he said.
Nkwo noted that youth of the the LCDA must see themselves as lucky considering the wealth of experience he was bringing on board.
According to him, the chairman himself is a young understood the needs of the yourh.
“I must say that the youth of this LCDA are exceptionally lucky to have the person of Hon. Adebanjo as their chairman.
“Just a few weeks back, he marked his 37th anniversary and so, his vision, his cardinal mission is for the youth and I have no doubt that issues affecting the youth such as unemployment and others, will be tackled headlong and reduced to the barest minimum,”he assured.
On his part, Alhaji Kehinde Onifade, a chieftain of the PCC, restated the group’s commitment in achieving its mandate, devoid of any form of rancour.
According to him, the group is not leaving any stone unturned in securing the presidential seat fir the party come 2027.
“We are working toward the the 2027 general elections and I will like to say that we are fully in support of President Bola Tinubu’s second tenure.
“We are also working in support of our party the APC in Lagos. This our new chairman is a member of the party and we are here to express and give him our full support for his very young administration.
“We want to appreciate him and we are not regretting supporting him, just as we expect that he will not also regret choosing this path. We want peace and progress of Onigbongbo LCDA,” he said.
He assured of total support from residents of the LCDA, noting that within the short period of settling in office, the chairman had impacted lives tremendously.
“We can attest to the show of love and unity among the people working with him to put smiles on the faces of people,”Onifade, also known as Oracle and the Freedom Fighter, stated.
Responding, the LCDA chairman, Hon. Adebanjo expressed delight at the visit and show of solidarity from the PCC members and pledged an unflinching commitment in running an all inclusive administration.
“I want to say I am grateful or the support and opportunity given to me to serve the people.
“In politics, good governance is what is expected and I want to reiterate that this group is significant in the administration of our great party, at the local government level.

“Let me seize this opportunity to assure you all that everybody will be carried onboard. We want to have a good legacy that by the time we are done, we shall all be proud of ourselves,” he stated.
He further assured that his administration would not hesitate to do everything within its power to give hope to residents, noting that all he needed was steadfast support and patience.
