Rev. Canon Lumen Eboh has declared that the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate for the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State, Mr. Paul Chukwuma, will emerge victorious.
Eboh, a respected cleric in the Awka Diocese of the Anglican Communion, made the proclamation on Sunday during a special prayer session at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Agulu, in Anaocha Local Government Area. The session was attended by the YPP deputy governorship candidate, Mr. Uzu Okagbue.
Also serving as the Spiritual Director of God in Action Ministry, Agulu, Eboh said the state is in dire need of divine leadership and expressed confidence that Chukwuma and Okagbue would govern with the fear of God.
“Anambra deserves light. All hope is not lost because Chukwuma and Okagbue are coming with the fear of God. They will govern with integrity and cause Anambra to shine like a thousand stars,” Eboh declared.
The cleric went further to personally vouch for the character and capability of the YPP candidates, assuring the congregation that they would not disappoint if elected.
Addressing the church, Eboh invited Okagbue to speak and publicly declared, “Victory is yours in the coming election.”
In his remarks, Okagbue reaffirmed the readiness of the YPP candidate to lead the state with humility and compassion, offering a contrast to the current administration.
“My boss, Mr. Paul Chukwuma, will govern Anambra with humility, purpose, and the milk of human kindness,” Okagbue said.

He promised that the incoming government, if elected, would reduce taxes by expanding business opportunities and strengthening Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the state. He also pledged to tackle insecurity to boost investor confidence and economic activity.
It is worth noting that during this year’s Easter celebrations, Rev. Eboh publicly endorsed the incumbent governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). However, in a significant shift, the cleric now insists that a change in government is imminent and that the YPP is set to take over come November.
