LAGOS — The Moyosore Onigbongbo Youths Organisation (MOYOO) has formally declared its support for Moyosore Adebanjo, a leading All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the chairmanship of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos.
The endorsement was announced on Friday during the official inauguration of the youth group, held in Onigbongbo. The convener of the organisation, Ademosun Jamiu, said the group is committed to mobilising grassroots support and will volunteer both time and resources towards Adebanjo’s campaign.
According to Jamiu, the decision to back Adebanjo was informed by his dynamism, strong academic background, intellectual prowess, and international exposure. He added that MOYOO had structured its volunteers into ward coordinators, zonal coordinators, and street captains to drive outreach efforts across the LCDA.

Responding to the endorsement, Adebanjo pledged to establish a world-class youth centre in Onigbongbo, citing the lack of such facilities in the area compared to neighbouring Ikeja and environs.
“I will also create convergence points for young minds to exchange ideas that foster development in our community,” Adebanjo said. He emphasized the importance of integrating youth into governance through inclusive decision-making and the implementation of youth-focused programmes.
The inauguration event was attended by notable APC leaders and stakeholders within the LCDA.
