The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), in collaboration with the Plateau State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), has launched a rapid assessment of communities impacted by recent attacks in Bokkos Local Government Area, Plateau State.
Assessment teams are currently on the ground in the affected areas, evaluating the extent of the damage and identifying the immediate needs of the impacted populations. At the same time, preparations are underway to deliver relief materials approved by the Federal Government, in accordance with the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to provide swift humanitarian aid to the victims.
This was revealed in a press statement signed by the agency on n Sunday.

The high-level team from NEMA’s headquarters, led by the Director-General, is en route to Plateau State to bolster the efforts of the NEMA Zonal Office in Jos. This visit aims to enhance coordination of relief efforts and ensure a timely and effective response.
