In driving sustainable development in Nigeria, the ministry of environment set to partner with the National Plastic Action Partnership to eliminate plastic waste and profile solutions based on the circular economy.
This was revealed as the NPAP courtesy visit to the Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas Lawal on Thursday in Abuja.
The primary objective aimed at briefing the Minister on the Nigeria NPAP and its notable achievements thus far.
NPAP expressed its noble goals, is dedicated to eliminating plastic waste, fostering a circular economy for plastic, reducing plastic leakage into land and water environments, and addressing the broader challenge of plastic waste and pollution.
NPAP however said its collaboration stands as a testament to the Federal Government’s commitment to environmental sustainability, paving the way for a cleaner and greener Nigeria.
