The Deputy Spokesman of the House of Representatives, Hon. Philip Agbese, has lauded the leadership of the Green Chamber spearheaded by Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas as the paramount team for the job.
Agbese, reflecting on the past year under the Speaker, expressed that no one else could have steered the parliament in the manner that Rt. Hon. Abbas has accomplished.
The legislator emphasized that the Speaker has exhibited outstanding leadership qualities, steering the House with sagacity, integrity, and commitment while navigating intricate legislative landscapes adeptly and elegantly.
Agbese highlighted that under his guidance, the House has attained noteworthy achievements, delivering on campaign pledges and meeting the needs of constituents.
He further mentioned that the Speaker has remained true to his commitments to his colleagues, fostering their satisfaction with his facilitation of connecting with their constituents in their respective constituencies.
“In the preceding year, Speaker Abbas has showcased exceptional leadership, steering the House with sagacity, integrity, and commitment,” he remarked.
“No other individual could have led the parliament with such eminence, maneuvering through complex legislative terrains with ease and finesse.
“Abbas is an invaluable asset to Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu, and the entire National Assembly. His distinctive combination of liberalism, nationalism, and patriotism has endeared him to all. He stands as a genuine statesman, consistently unafraid to convey truths to those in power, impartially.
“Under his supervision, the House has accomplished notable milestones, fulfilling campaign pledges and addressing constituents’ needs. Fresh members are motivated by his diligence and inclusivity.
“He has dutifully honored his commitments to us, and members are content with his leadership. We offer daily prayers for him, appreciative of his selfless service.
