Health Ministry Set to Host Joint Annual Review

The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare is set to hold the 2024 Nigeria Health Sector-Wide Joint Annual Review (JAR), aimed at evaluating the health sector’s progress and achievements under the newly implemented Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp).

The event is scheduled for November 6-8, 2024, in Abuja.

The announcement was made in a press statement signed by Alaba Balogun, Head of Information and Public Relations,

This inaugural JAR will consist of two main components:

1. Technical Review Sessions: Stakeholders will assess key performance indicators across the health sector.

2. High-Level Political Review: This will focus on securing essential political commitment to further Nigeria’s health priorities and goals.

Health Sector-Wide Joint Annual Review is to ensurs significant effort to advance the health sector’s effectiveness and responsiveness.
