Water Minister Hails Tinubu’s 74th Birthday for Advancing Policies on Public Health, Economic Growth in Nigeria

The Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his birthday, highlighting the critical role of his leadership in advancing public health, food security, and economic development through ongoing sector reforms.
In a statement issued by the Minister, Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, the ministry commended the President’s “visionary leadership” and commitment to national development, noting that his administration has provided renewed focus on water resources and sanitation as key pillars of sustainable growth.
The statement emphasized that under Tinubu’s leadership, the sector has gained increased attention as a driver of improved public health outcomes, enhanced agricultural productivity, and broader economic advancement. It added that ongoing reforms aligned with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda are creating pathways for more inclusive access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services across the country.
