
Abuja – President Bola Tinubu has restructured the State House media and communications team by redesignating the roles of two recently appointed officials to improve the government’s communication processes.
A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, announced that Mr. Sunday Dare, previously designated as Special Adviser on Public Communication and National Orientation, will now serve as Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications.
Similarly, Mr. Daniel Bwala, who was last week named Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, has been reassigned as Special Adviser on Policy Communication.
The statement clarified that the restructuring aligns with a collective approach to communication:
“These appointments, alongside the existing role of Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, emphasize that the Presidency does not rely on a single spokesperson. Instead, the three Special Advisers will jointly serve as the government’s spokespeople,” Onanuga stated.
