
President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the government and people of Ondo State following the passing of Temitayo Oluwatuyi, popularly known as Tukana, who served as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Oluwatuyi passed away today after succumbing to severe injuries sustained in a tragic accident on December 15, 2024.
In a heartfelt message, President Tinubu extended his sympathies to Oluwatuyi’s family, friends, and political associates, acknowledging his immense contributions to the state’s development. First appointed as SSG by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in 2020, Oluwatuyi was reappointed by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, a testament to his exemplary service and dedication.

The President also highlighted Oluwatuyi’s distinguished career, including his roles as Chairman of Akure South Local Government and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. Tinubu praised his commitment to democracy and his vital role in policy coordination and implementation, which helped advance Ondo State’s progress.
President Tinubu offered prayers for the repose of Oluwatuyi’s soul and for divine comfort for his grieving family, urging them to find solace in his legacy of service and dedication.
