The Ministry of Steel Development has bid farewell to the former Minister of State, His Excellency Uba Maigari Ahmadu, following his deployment to the Ministry of Regional Development.
In a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Steel Development on Friday in Abuja, Ahmadu acknowledged the collaborative efforts behind his achievements and highlighted the potential of the steel and metals sector to drive economic growth in Nigeria.
He spoke passionately about initiatives he launched, including the ongoing Bootcamp Training Programme for Nigerian Youths, emphasizing its significance in youth empowerment and sectoral growth.
Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, the Minister of Steel Development, expressed gratitude for their partnership and commended Ahmadu’s extensive public service experience. Similarly, the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Chris Osa Isokpunwu, praised Ahmadu’s leadership and reassured him that the Bootcamp initiative would continue to advance under the Ministry’s care.
Ahmadu expressed his gratitude to the Ministry’s management and staff for their unwavering support during his 14-month tenure and conveyed his confidence in the Ministry’s continued success.
