It is with profound sorrow and remorse that we announce the passing of a distinguished official of the Nigeria Customs Service who was present at the National Assembly for a meeting with a House Committee.
During the meeting, which took place at approximately 1.00pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the official experienced sudden health complications. Despite the prompt and diligent efforts of first responders and medical personnel at the National Assembly Clinic, he tragically passed away.
In consideration of the family, the identity of the official will not be disclosed at this time.
