Tinubu Mourns Minister Balarabe Abbas Lawal’s Mother, Hajiya Dayyabatu

Abuja, Nigeria — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Honourable Minister of Environment, Mallam Balarabe Abbas Lawal, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Dayyabatu Lawal, who passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the late Hajiya Dayyabatu as a “devout, kind-hearted, and selfless woman who dedicated her life to serving God, her family, and her community.”
President Tinubu noted that the virtues of integrity, humility, and compassion that define the Minister’s public service are a testament to his late mother’s nurturing and moral guidance.

He further urged the bereaved family to find solace in the enduring legacy of faith, love, and service that Hajiya Dayyabatu Lawal left behind.
