
Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District and currently serving as the Senate Minority Leader, has taken steps to address healthcare needs in his constituency by distributing drugs valued at millions of naira to healthcare centers across the district.
This effort aims to help alleviate the burden of rising medication costs and improve access to essential drugs for rural populations.
During the distribution event, Senator Moro urged healthcare workers to utilize the drugs responsibly to maximize benefits for rural communities. In addition to this distribution, he has also constructed healthcare centers in Okpokwu, Ado, Oju, and Ohomini Local Government Areas (LGAs), with plans to open them soon. Furthermore, new centers have been approved for construction in Otukpo, Obi, Agatu, and Apa LGAs in the 2024 budget, demonstrating his continued commitment to strengthening grassroots healthcare infrastructure.
This initiative reflects Senator Moro’s dedication to enhancing healthcare services and accessibility for his constituents.
