Hajj 2026: Al Khauthar Travels Set to Launch Automated Online Portal for Pilgrim Registration

Al Khauthar Travel and Tours has unveiled plans to launch a fully automated online registration portal ahead of the 2026 Hajj, aimed at simplifying the pilgrimage process and improving customer experience.

The digital platform will enable intending pilgrims for both Hajj and Umrah to select packages, upload biodata and e-passport details, make payments, and communicate with sales agents—significantly reducing the need for physical visits.

Speaking on the development, Chairman and CEO of Al Khauthar, Hajiya Rabiatu Umar, said the initiative is in line with global trends in religious tourism.

“The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced various technological solutions, and it’s clear where the industry is heading. Hajj and Umrah will increasingly be driven by technology, and Al Khauthar cannot afford to be left behind,” she noted.

Hajiya Umar disclosed that the company is partnering with international service providers to expand its operations beyond Nigeria, reinforcing its status as one of the country’s leading licensed tour operators.

Al Khauthar was ranked among the top ten Nigerian firms that successfully facilitated pilgrimages during the 2025 Hajj. The portal is expected to go live ahead of registration for the 2026 exercise.
