The PDP Senators Caucus has reached a decision, urging its members to retract any legal actions against individuals.
They emphasized the unity and resilience of the party as an entity that cannot be fractured or undermined.
In light of recent events within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), senators elected under the party’s banner took a proactive approach on Thursday to address the ongoing crisis.
Following a closed-door meeting, the Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro PhD, stated that the PDP caucus acknowledged the internal strife and committed to collaborating with all key stakeholders to resolve the issues and restore harmony.
The caucus implored all disgruntled parties to set aside their differences in the interest of the party, pledging to facilitate inclusive discussions aimed at fostering lasting peace within the PDP.
They urged the cessation of all legal disputes to pave the way for more substantive dialogues geared towards internal reconciliation.
Emphasizing the paramount importance of the party’s well-being over personal agendas, the caucus encouraged members to prioritize the party’s welfare and strive to fortify it, positioning the PDP as a credible alternative to the ruling APC, which they accused of inflicting significant suffering and hardship on the nation.
They affirmed that the PDP remains the beacon of hope for the beleaguered Nigerian populace.
