As the Osun State Local Government Election scheduled for February 22, 2025, approaches, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, representing Osun East Senatorial District, has urged all members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the state, particularly in Osun East, to unite and rally behind PDP candidates contesting in various wards, local governments, and area councils.
In his new month goodwill message to constituents, signed by his media aides, Senator Fadahunsi emphasized that the PDP has become the dominant political force in Osun State, thanks to the transformative leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
He credited the governor’s administration with implementing historic infrastructural projects, improving healthcare, expanding social welfare programs, and championing policies that directly benefit the people.
“The impact of Governor Adeleke’s leadership is felt in every household across Osun State. If the APC had any sense of shame, they wouldn’t even contest this election. Their credibility has completely eroded due to the governor’s outstanding performance,” Fadahunsi stated.
He further noted that PDP lawmakers at both state and federal levels have actively complemented the governor’s efforts in alleviating poverty and uplifting communities.

The Senator called on all PDP leaders, stakeholders, and members to put aside internal differences and work together to mobilize voters in support of PDP candidates in the upcoming election.
“Now is not the time for division. We must unite against our common political opponents. The APC is finished in Osun, and we must ensure they do not return to power,” he declared.
Senator Fadahunsi concluded by wishing the people of Osun East and beyond a prosperous and fulfilling month ahead.
