The National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) has successfully conducted a one-day sensitization training on the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) to enhance efficiency in document handling.
The pilot training targeted selected staff members, with plans to extend the initiative to all agency personnel.
In her opening remarks, the Head of Planning, Research, and Statistics (PRS), Dr. Binta Musa Ibrahim, emphasized that the training marks a significant step toward improving operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability within the agency.
“As we continue striving for excellence in service delivery, it is imperative that we leverage technology to streamline our documentation processes,” she stated.
According to a press release issued by Attari M. Hope, Head of Communication and Public Relations, the EDMS will provide a secure, centralized, and user-friendly platform for document management. The system aims to reduce paperwork, enhance collaboration, and boost overall productivity across NSIPA.
Dr. Binta encouraged participants to engage actively with facilitators, emphasizing the importance of acquiring the necessary skills to effectively utilize the EDMS.

“Your commitment to mastering this system is essential for its successful implementation and sustainability,” she added.
She also expressed her appreciation to NSIPA’s National Coordinator and CEO, Associate Professor Badamasi Lawal, PhD, for supporting the training initiative and recognizing the critical role of EDMS in improving service delivery.
