The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration and mutual support in Lagos State.
The renewed commitment followed a courtesy visit by the newly appointed Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Superintendent of Police Abimbola Adebisi, to the Lagos State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr. Keshinro Adedotun, at the Corps Headquarters in Lagos.
Adebisi, who was warmly received by Commandant Adedotun and the NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin, said her visit symbolised a shared vision of teamwork and stronger institutional relations between the two security agencies.
Speaking during the visit, Commandant Adedotun urged both PROs to deepen cooperation in their public communication efforts and in operational synergy, noting that public trust and confidence were essential to the success of all security agencies.
“While we remain focused on safeguarding the nation’s critical national assets and infrastructure, the NSCDC will continue to support the Police and other sister agencies in achieving their statutory mandates,” he said.
In her remarks, SP Adebisi expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded her and pledged continued partnership with the NSCDC in promoting peace, security, and credible information sharing across the state.

“Stronger collaboration between our services will greatly enhance efforts toward crime prevention, de-escalation, and overall safety in Lagos,” she added.
Both agencies reiterated their resolve to maintain the spirit of esprit de corps and joint operations in safeguarding lives and property in Lagos State.
