ABUJA, Nigeria — The Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Olufemi Soneye, has officially resigned from his position.
Soneye announced his departure in a statement released to journalists on Saturday, citing the need to focus on family and attend to pressing personal responsibilities.
“It has been a profound honour to serve both the company and our country and to contribute in my own way to the ongoing transformation of NNPC Ltd,” he stated.
Reflecting on his 20-month tenure, Soneye expressed deep appreciation for the media and stakeholders who played vital roles in amplifying NNPCL’s voice and strengthening its communications presence.
