NiDCOM Boss Mourns Nigerian Family Killed in U.S. Road Crash, Urges Road Safety

The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Nihinloluwa Agoro and her children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, in a road accident in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States.

In a statement issued by Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Dabiri-Erewa described the incident as heartbreaking, noting that the loss occurred during what should have been a routine journey.

She extended her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying for the repose of the deceased and comfort for those left behind. The NiDCOM boss also wished a speedy recovery to individuals who sustained injuries in the accident.

Dabiri-Erewa further used the occasion to call for increased caution on the roads to prevent similar tragedies, stressing the importance of safety awareness among road users.

She reaffirmed her solidarity with the Nigerian community in Texas and across the United States during this period of mourning.

According to reports, the fatal accident occurred on Sunday, March 15, 2026, as the victims were on their way to church.
