The Federal Government has facilitated the repatriation of One Hundred and Ninety (190) Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates.
The returnees were warmly welcomed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at dawn, precisely at 05:57 am, by a unified team of government dignitaries spearheaded by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
This information was relayed through an official press release issued by Bashir Idris Garga, the Zonal Director of NEMA North Central acting on behalf of the Director General on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, the returnees underwent a thorough profiling and documentation process overseen by the pertinent authorities, coupled with a session to sensitize them on the imperative of conducting themselves with dignity and responsibility upon their return to Nigeria.
The Federal Government passionately urges all Nigerian citizens, regardless of their location, to epitomize the essence of being exemplary ambassadors of their homeland, upholding the core values of patriotism, adherence to the rule of law, propriety, and integrity.
