The Honourable Minister praised the Vice President, a proficient economist and banker who held numerous senior executive positions in the banking sector before venturing into politics, for his unparalleled contribution to the economic recovery and stability of the nation.
He also lauded the Vice President as a genuine democrat and peacemaker who, on several occasions, facilitated reconciliation among conflicting political factions, individuals, and institutions. Furthermore, he commended the Vice President’s efforts in restoring tranquility in Borno State, previously the epicenter of the Boko Haram insurgency during his tenure as governor.
