Prince Audu’s message for Eid-el-Kabir was communicated through a statement released by his Special Assistant on Media, Lizzy Okoji, on Sunday in Abuja.
The Minister further calls on Nigerians and Muslim adherents to ponder upon the sacrifices and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim, who demonstrated unwavering trust in Almighty Allah (SWT) during his most challenging times, and the subsequent rewards. He emphasizes that the challenges and tribulations currently faced by the nation will soon yield positive outcomes, ushering in the benefits of democracy, effective governance, and an improved quality of life for all citizens, as envisioned by the comprehensive policies and progressive reform programs of the President.
He also urges Nigerians to persist in their prayers for the nation, emphasizing the importance of patriotism and the necessity of collaborating in peace, unity, and harmony for the nation’s progress. He highlights that the period of elections has passed, and it is now time for nation-building and good governance, regardless of political, moral, or religious differences.
Prince Audu acknowledges that Nigeria’s 25 years of uninterrupted democracy in the fourth republic should not be taken lightly, showcasing the nation’s resilience. He emphasizes the unity of Nigerians, despite their diverse backgrounds, as a crucial factor for national solidarity.
The Minister advises citizens to remember, rejoice, and extend generosity to less fortunate compatriots, recalling the principles of peace and charity exemplified by Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
He reiterates his dedication to fulfilling his mandate of revitalizing the steel industry in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at boosting the economy to over $1 trillion by 2031 and generating millions of employment opportunities for Nigerians, particularly the youth, thereby positioning Nigeria as a global investment hub, among other initiatives.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and the entire team at the Federal Ministry of Steel Development, I extend warm wishes to the President and all Nigerians for a joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration,”stated Prince Audu.
