PRESS STATEMENT
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has observed with concern the emerging practice of conducting nighttime registration for prospective candidates of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) at certain registration centres.
While JAMB acknowledges the commitment of these centres to accommodating more candidates, this must never come at the expense of candidates’ safety and security.
In a statement released on Sunday and signed by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, Public Communication Advisor, JAMB, the Board issued a strong warning to the centres engaging in this practice, directing them to immediately cease nocturnal registration activities.
The affected centres are:
1. Thomas Adewumi University, University Drive Off Oko-Idofin Road, Oko, Kwara State
2. CBT Centre Otukpo, 14 Federal Road, Otukpo, Benue State
3. Ebenezer International School, No. 23 Barry White Street, Near MTN Mast, Pipeline Rumukwurusi, Elimgbu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
4. Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel Centre 1, Kano Road, Gumel, Jigawa State
5. Lafiagi Emirate Information Technology & Innovation Hub, Opposite Main Motor Park, Emir’s Road, Lafiagi, Kwara State
6. Zulqud Consult Ltd (ZCL CBT Center), Government Secondary School, Lugbe By Car Wash, Lugbe Bridge, Abuja
7. Klinnicapps Academy, Old Imaje Road, Formerly Christian Secondary Commercial School, Okuku, Yala, Cross River State
8. Sani Mikaila Comprehensive College, Plot 34 Rikkos New Layout, Jos, Plateau State
9. Beeps Technology Limited, 19 Obudu Street, Igoli, Ogoja, Cross River State

This announcement serves as a final warning to these centres and any others considering similar practices. No further notices will be issued before JAMB takes decisive action.
JAMB remains firm in its commitment to enforcing strict compliance with its registration guidelines. Any centre found violating these regulations or engaging in exploitative practices will face appropriate sanctions.
The Board assures the public that it will continue to monitor the UTME registration process to uphold its integrity, ensure fairness, and protect the interests of all candidates.
JAMB urges all accredited centres to prioritize the well-being of candidates over profit motives and to strictly adhere to the stipulated registration protocols.
