Industrialization, Digitization, Innovation: Keys to Revitalizing Nigeria’s Economy – Senator Enoh

Senator John Owan Enoh, the Honourable Minister of State for Industry, has emphasized the critical role of industrialization, digitization, and innovative technology in revitalizing Nigeria’s economy.

Speaking on Tuesday during the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment’s third-quarter retreat, Senator Enoh highlighted Priority 7—”Accelerating Diversification through Industrialization, Digitization, and Innovative Technology”—as a key pathway to creating jobs, boosting exports, and enhancing the nation’s economic competitiveness.

The retreat, held to review and assess the ministry’s performance on its deliverables, provided a platform for the Minister of State to reaffirm the ministry’s role in achieving President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria’s economic transformation.

A Strategic Focus on Diversification

“The Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment is pivotal to achieving our nation’s economic aspirations,” Senator Enoh stated. “By focusing on Priority 7, we are unlocking opportunities to create sustainable jobs, increase our export potential, and elevate Nigeria’s position in the global economy.”

Senator Enoh further emphasized the ministry’s commitment to meeting its targets and fulfilling its mandate to drive diversification through innovative technologies and digital advancements. This, he noted, aligns with the administration’s broader goal of economic resilience and sustainability.

Commitment to Results

The Minister assured stakeholders that his team remains dedicated to advancing industrialization and harnessing cutting-edge technologies to build a robust and competitive economy. He called on all involved to work collaboratively to deliver measurable outcomes, thereby contributing to Nigeria’s growth and prosperity.
