The prestigious annual Michael Okpara Premier Prize Leadership Award for this year took place at the Shehu Yar’ Adua Press Center in Abuja on the 22nd of August, 2024.
The distinguished event featured His Excellency Hope Uzodima (CON), the Governor of Imo State, in a dual role as the guest lecturer and a distinguished award recipient, hailed as an iconic figure and a torchbearer of the legacy inherited from our late hero, Michael Okpara.
The event was attended by a multitude of esteemed personalities in Nigeria, including prominent politicians, scholars, clergy members, top government officials, and chief executives of various sectors in the administration.
Among the attendees were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, governors, deputy governors, senators, honorable members of the House of Representatives, government appointees, as well as the wife of the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
