The Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Managing Director of the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) Dr Kayode Opeifa.
This is contained in a congratulatory letter signed by the MARAN President, Mr Godfrey Bivbere, on Thursday in Lagos.
Bivbere described the appointment as well-deserved, citing the appointee’s exceptional track record in the transportation sector.
“As a highly accomplished transport expert of repute, we are confident that your wealth of experience and academic qualifications will positively impact your new role,” he said.
The association acknowledged the appointee’s previous accomplishments, including serving as Commissioner of Transport, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership, intellectual brilliance, and a strong work ethic.
MARAN expressed confidence in the new Managing Director’s ability to build on the successes of his predecessor and drive the NRC to greater heights.
