First Day Nationwide Protest: Police Deploys Non-Lethal Ammunition on Protesters at Engle Square

The nationwide protest has reached Engle Square, where a multitude of demonstrators are attempting to approach as the Security forces deploy non-lethal ammunition and tear gas into the atmosphere to disperse the protesters in Abuja.
Upon inspecting the non-lethal ammunition, a Security personnel stated to the Distinct News correspondent that it is not a genuine firearm, but rather non-lethal ammunition.
Protesters were dispersing swiftly from the substantial blocks of ammunition and the tear gas.
Distinct News also conveyed that the security presence at Engle Square is robust.
