The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the opening of the application portal for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP), a 12-month fully paid internship initiative designed to equip fresh graduates with practical work experience and improve their chances in the labour market. The programme will provide successful applicants with a monthly stipend of ₦150,000 and offer placement opportunities across public and private sector organisations nationwide.
According to the government, the NJFP aims to bridge the gap between young graduates and employment opportunities by offering on-the-job training, mentorship and career development support to enhance employability.
To be eligible for the programme, applicants must be 30 years old or younger, must have graduated not earlier than 2022, and must possess a minimum of a Second Class Lower (2.2) Bachelor’s degree or a Lower Credit Higher National Diploma (HND) with a CGPA of at least 3.0. Applicants are also required to present either an NYSC discharge certificate or a valid exemption letter.
Registration is currently ongoing and interested candidates are to submit their applications through the official portal at https://portal.njfp.ng/registration/.
