FG Launches National Health Fellows Programme, Calls for Applications

As part of its commitment to driving meaningful change and fostering innovation in the health sector, the Federal Government has unveiled the National Health Fellows Programme, a prestigious one-year initiative.

The programme is spearheaded by the Nigeria Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative (SWAp Coordination Office) under the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

Announcing the initiative, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, described it as an opportunity for Nigerian professionals across diverse fields to contribute to the transformation of the nation’s healthcare landscape.

“This prestigious programme will bring together a cohort of emerging professionals from various disciplines, including health and health-related fields, information technology, and social sciences,” Prof. Pate stated.

He emphasized that the fellowship aims to develop a cadre of highly skilled and motivated health leaders capable of driving impactful change and innovation within the sector.
