Eid-el-Fitr: NEMSAS Urges Nigerians to Prioritise Safety, Compassion

The National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (NEMSAS) has called on Nigerians to prioritise safety and uphold the values of compassion and service as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr across the country.

In a Sallah message issued by the National Programme Manager, Dr Emuren Doubra, the agency congratulated Muslims and all Nigerians on the successful completion of Ramadan, describing the season as a reminder of sacrifice, discipline, and humanity.

Dr Doubra noted that the lessons of Ramadan align closely with the mission of NEMSAS, which is focused on delivering timely and quality emergency medical services nationwide. He emphasised that compassion and service to humanity remain central to the agency’s operations.

He also urged citizens to be safety-conscious during the festive period, particularly while travelling and attending public gatherings, stressing the importance of collective responsibility in preventing emergencies.

The NEMSAS boss further called for continued public support toward strengthening Nigeria’s healthcare system, while praying for peace, unity, and prosperity in the country.

He expressed hope that Almighty Allah would accept the prayers and acts of worship of the faithful, wishing all Nigerians a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration.
